From handmade teddies to tiny baskets carved from a peach seed.
These small acts of creativity taught me that healing and beauty can be found in the simplest of things.
Artist Portfolio
Hi, I’m a trained therapist and professional counsellor with over a decade of experience supporting individuals in need. I’ve had the privilege of working in community organisations, offering art therapy, and providing care in family refuges. I am also experienced in supporting people with mental health challenges and well-versed in the NDIS framework. I hold a valid Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Clearance.
I specialise in creating safe, nurturing spaces where clients can truly grow and learn. From a very young age, I have been independent and resourceful, finding strength in creativity and the freedom to express myself through art. Over the years, I have learned to paint, draw, and explore countless forms of arts and crafts, each becoming part of my personal journey of healing and expression.
My love for art is deeply rooted in my family. I inherited my artistic skills from my father, who is an excellent drawer, but also a gifted pastry chef, teaching me the value of being skilled with my hands.
With my mother’s gentle support, I discovered the joy of knitting, creating jewellery, and sewing. I was also inspired by my wider family: my aunty, who lovingly crafted teddy bears from scratch with her own hands, and my cousin, who painted, played the guitar, and created incredible art from the simplest of tools, even making a tiny basket carved from a peach seed.
These early experiences continue to inspire me today, reminding me that creativity has always been my way of connecting, healing, and growing.
The love I hold for my family and the value I place on life guided me toward becoming a therapist. My children bring immense joy, and I feel deep awe watching them grow. Their happiness is my own! They are my biggest support, and I wouldn’t have made it this far without the unwavering support of my children and my husband.
They’ve been with me every step of the way, helping to make this dream a reality. My family is my everyday inspiration to continue finding my way and making it happen. My gratitude and appreciation for life drive me to support you in the best way possible to help you achieve your goals. Now, my goal is to help bring your goals to life.
Together, we will make it happen
My Journey to Australia
I came to Australia nearly thirty years ago, carrying with me a heart full of dreams and a suitcase of memories from my homeland, Ecuador.
Leaving behind family, familiar streets, and the traditions I grew up with was not easy, but it was the beginning of a new chapter filled with discovery and growth.
In those early days, I learned the strength of independence and resilience. Australia became more than just a new place to live, it became the canvas on which I would paint my life. Here, I continued to nurture my love for creativity, blending the rich cultural roots of my upbringing with the opportunities of my new home.
This journey has shaped who I am today: a woman who finds healing, beauty, and connection through art, and who is passionate about creating safe spaces for others to do the same.
